I have talked to all kinds of Christ Followers who find themselves in sinful situations that disrupt their life as well as those around them. In Exodus 32:5 Aaron build a golden calf (idol) and worshiped. Some how his, and all of Israel's, memory of the goodness of God leading them out of slavery, parting the Red Sea, providing water and food. . . became a vague memory. We have to fight for or memories of the goodness of God in our life. Folk don't become so caught up in the now that you forget about your relationship with your Savior. God wrote to us in the book of Hebrews 10:24-25" . . . and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near." I leave you one question are you gathering together with other saints or does the gathering together play second fiddle in your life.
