I noticed that if I text instead of call someone I get a response, more times than not. Also, I usually do not answer a call if it's a 1-800 phone number, but honestly, I am a talker and I enjoy the risk if I have the time. The gospel of John, chapter 10, calls Jesus the Good Shepherd. And it tells about the shepherd talking to his sheep and the sheep responding to his voice, but they need to know his voice. I wonder if you pick up the phone when Jesus calls you, I wonder if you recognize His voice, I wonder if you forget that Jesus is a good shepherd and wants you to run and play in beautiful green pastures and He protects you when the wolf is knocking at the door, or when a lion is about to take your head off. The Good Shepherd watches over you when you do not even know; when the enemy is disguised as a safe pasture, but it is full of harmful weeds that will make you sick and die. Oh, and get this, the Good Shepherd also has texted you great messages! Stop and ponder this - He was the first to text Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, the BIBLE. Wow! Jesus speaks, He texts, and by-the-way, in one of his texts He said if you don't read or you don't hear, just look around because He declares himself in nature. I think we call that snap-chat!
