At a lunch meeting others and I discussed the problem with managers who think that managing is leading. If you find yourself working for a person who likes to tell you what to do and has never shown you, well you work for a manager, not a leader.  Jesus said, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men. . . "  (Matt. 4:17-20). Jesus walked and talked and showed his disciples how to point folks to an abundant life, to a life of faith in Him. So, today, before you bark out an order or get frustrated because they do not know how to do it, just stop! Go over and and ask if you can show them. You need to know that sometimes you may have to show them more than once. That is how a leader operates. Jesus mentored twelve for three years and changed the world. Be patient with others, don't just tell them, show them and LEAD.
